Complementary intensive cancer therapy in Germany with Dr. Maar
Dear patients,
Welcome to my website. Here you will find relevant information on complementary intensive cancer therapy following the MAAR discipline.
- Complementary cancer therapy in Düsseldorf for more than 25 years now
- Therapy for all types of tumors, especially prostate carcinomas
- Medical practice specializing in hyperthermia treatment

Main focuses and aims of the therapy
A major goal of our intensive cancer therapy is to combat metastases, which are the number one cause of death in about 80% of cancers. Preliminary stages such as micrometastases (small metastases) can also be treated. If it is not possible to operate, other conventional medical measures such as chemotherapy can be effectively complemented by intensive cancer therapy.
We have been utilizing these intensive cancer therapy methods for more than 25 years now.
New approaches to cancer therapy
Dr. Klaus Maar, practicing physician and published author, is breaking new ground in cancer therapy. As a trained physician in both conventional Western medicine and naturopathy and former director of the Urological University Clinic Düsseldorf, the lack of success he observed in conventional Western medicine (approx. every fourth cancer patient dies of their condition) induced him some time ago to found his own day clinic and to apply new treatment approaches.
Unique treatment concept
Conventional cancer therapy attempts to destroy the tumor – but this is far too rarely successful. Standard naturopathy, on the other hand, merely tries to improve the immune system and help the body to help itself – but with an illness this serious, this approach often does not work.
With our unique complementary concept, we therefore achieve both at the same time: the destruction of cancer cells and the development of the immune system. Conventional Western medical therapies are combined, if necessary, with the complementary, biologically based intensive cancer therapy we have developed.
Components of our intensive therapy
The basis of the treatment concept is an intensive, biologically founded cancer therapy (combination therapy). One priority is to strengthen the immune system; the other is to weaken or kill the cells of the tumor, the metastases and especially the micrometastases.
In general, the therapy is started in a longer initial treatment phase of up to 5 weeks and 4-5 hours daily (Monday – Friday; weekends remain free). After completion of the first phase, repeat treatments (shorter in duration) should take place after some time, depending on the results of conventional medical examination and on the condition of the patient. These repeat treatments are important for the lasting success of the therapy!
The individual measures are based on three or four “pillars”:
1) Oral medication (among others)
- Enzymes
- Thymus preparations
- Nettle preparations
- Vitamins
- Trace elements
- Structure of the intestinal flora
2) Percutaneous medication
- Bioidentical hormone therapy for hormone-dependent cancers such as breast, uterine and prostate cancer
3) Intravenous therapy
- High-dose mistletoe infusions [1]
- Liver peptides (intravenous)
- Highly dosed magnesium, selenium and vitamin C
- Mistletoe and ozone instillation treatment (for intestinal and bladder carcinomas)
- Selenium
- Hyperbaric ozone therapy
- Naturopathic immune-boosting infusions
4) Mechanical measures
- Whole-body hyperthermia [2]
- Local deep hyperthermia [3]
- Ozone therapy
- Colon hydrotherapy
Further measures:
- Ozone enemas
- Drinking ozone water
- Rinsing with ozone water
- Application of ozonized olive oil
- Neural therapy (e.g. spinal column)
- Nutritional advice (keyword: cancer diet)
- Discussion of questions
Comments:
1] High-dose mistletoe infusions
The hyperthermia procedures mentioned above are applied alternately for a longer period of time and are intensified through daily mistletoe infusions. After testing whether the mistletoe is generally tolerated by the patient’s body (of the more than 1,000 patients who have been treated so far, eight had a severe intolerance), the dosage is quickly increased. In order to achieve apoptosis of the tumor cells (tumor cell death), intravenous high-dose therapy is required.
[2] Whole-body hyperthermia
This serves to strengthen the immune system, and thus also helps to fight tumors
[3] Local deep hyperthermia
In this procedure, radio waves build up an electrical field inside the body in tumor cells, metastases and micrometastases, which can selectively destabilize or destroy them. Depending on the anatomical localization, a wave generator can be placed on corresponding disease foci.
